KBMSK has a goal for the month of February and we are calling it Five For February!

In March of 2021, we embarked on a mission to increase the size of our operating endowment to $200,000 by the 7 year anniversary of the establishment of the fund in April of 2022.  Due to the incredible generosity of this community, we are just $5,000 short of that goal!  These funds will ensure that our soup kitchen will be able to run for  many years to come.

We are asking for donations of $5 in the month of February to close the loop. That’s it.  Five Dollars.

Right now, we are serving an average of 70 meals twice a day, five days a week which is about 2800/month.  You will be amazed to know that $5 will provide 20 meals for our patrons.  Your $5 WILL make a difference.

A famous quote from Mother Teresa hangs in our conference room which says “If you cannot feed 100 people feed just one”. In this case you will be feeding 20!!.

We believe in the POSITIVE power of social media. And if you simply cannot donate $5, you can still help by sharing this important post and that won’t cost a thing.  It could be seen around the world!
